by Noel Finey on I went here on a Wednesday night and it was really laid back, however, I enjoyed it (there was no crowd either). The food was great and inexpensive, came out very quick and our server was really nice and did a great job. Their nachos and plantains are yummy! I'm kind of interested in seeing what it's like here on one of their live nights. I'll definitely be returning.
by Warren Maxon on in the absence of frozen yogurt, yummy gelato is the next best thing. prices are a bit steep here, but what else is new about university city? my favorite is pistachio, but their flavors constantly change. check their website for the flavor of the day and you might be in for a special treat. what's cool is that there's a few different capogiro locations around town, and each location has its own unique flavor choices, so you could do a whole day walking tour of the capogiros and never be bored by the same overplayed flavors. to the person who thought up the idea of putting a bar inside a gelato shop - YOU ARE A GENIUSSS. hh drinks + gelato to satisfy your drunken cravings. what more can you ask for?!
by lucy b. on a great DJ set place. went there 2 days ago to see James Murphy do a DJ set and i absolutely loved this huge downtown factory-like atmosphere. the sound system was really good + nice videos projected on the wall. crowded but you could get enough private space to dance like no one's watching... cool bar upstairs to kick back. drinks are pricy though.
