by Beth K. on I was in search of somewhere with outdoor seating last night, and finally landed at Pietro's. I love the arugula salad and brick oven pizzas here, plus even the small portions are large enough to share. I don't love the inside atmosphere as much, but in the warmer months, the outdoor seating on Walnut St makes for great people watching.

by Sook Sites on Ive been to this spot once, I took the GF on payroll at the time...Ill say this, at first the bit of overcrowding (it was on a Saturday) kind of threw me off because i dont really like to eat a good meal in a noisy and cramped place, but as I sat down and looked around I noticed that the place is not the mess it seems to be, everything is pretty organized and thers nobody stepping on your shoes, on top of that when that food came out and I tasted it, man I forgot about anything that maybe I thought could be wrong, I had a churrasco and the woman had some crab meat stuffed jalapenos, everything was perfect in my humble opinion.. the spot might seem pricey for its location but the quality of food and service definitely make up for it.
by Ani P. on My FIRST ever rateclubs Elite Event was at Bordello. Can you imagine my excitement? My friends and I talked about going to Bordello for eons, it just sadly never happened. I faithfully followed my google map directions. I saw an ugly building with neon looking lights in a desolate part of Los Angeles. Being directionally impaired, I guessed that I was lost. The address was correct. I felt confused. I parked my car. Parking was super easy, like I said, the area was desolate. I parked right near the Bordello but still wished I had my trusty pepper spray. I was convinced that I had the wrong address and timidly asked the bouncer if this was Bordello. He nodded. The inside is completely different from the outside. From the outside you think you're going to a cheesy Tex-Mex restaurant that should be called Taco Paradise. The inside was sexy. Tons of black chandeliers, silver antique-like damask mirrors and simply interesting decor. The bartender made terrific drinks. Yummy tasting but strong (what's better)? I can't say for sure the type of people frequent Bordello. I was happy to be with fellow rateclubsers. Yes, I felt cool. I'll be back for drinks with my posse. Or maybe I'll be back with just hubby. I could see us role-playing one of those scenes where we pretend to not know each other and hook up for a hot night. Bordello is sexy..... I'll be back sooner rather than later.
