The first time I came here by chance, my guy friend and I just came from work so we felt a little too businessy...but no one cared and we felt at home right away. It was Lesbian cabaret night so we got to watch topless chicks (with tassels) sing and dance...not what I was expecting, but it was a blast. The last time I went, the bartender accidently spilled my drink on me, so he offered me free drinks the rest of the night...HELLO! Great random mix of games, peeps, music, drinks...and outdoor garden, what more could you ask for!?
by Karen K. on I rate this place 3.5 stars. On my last trip to Philly, my mission was to try all the philly cheesesteak places we could in 2 days. We went to Pats, Genos, and Jim's. Genos was actually my favorite because I loved the way the meat was actually sliced a little thicker than Pat's and Jim's. I got the sand which with onions and cheez whiz. Believe me I thought cheez whiz would be disgusting but it is actually SOOOO good. I only order philly cheesesteak sandwiches with cheez whiz. My sandwich was nice, hot and delicious. My only compliant was the whole "this is America, speak English thing." What a racist/prejudice thing to have at your restaurant. Especially being in such a diverse city such as Philadelphia. WTF?
