by Raymond Kwon on I have been to Jillian's twice over the past 8 years. The first time, probably in 2001, I found the place to be "cute," but a bit over-priced. The second time I visited the establishment was for Monday night football last month, and the experience was completely different. First of all, the main room was packed with 49er fans, which made the atmosphere appear happy and inviting. Secondly, the drink I ordered (which was a fancy Cosmo) was de-li-cious and supplied the desired affect with no problem; I didn't even require a second! Lastly, the food (my date had the sirloin burger and I had the chicken) was quite tasty and the prices did not seem as expensive as in the past. While there, I told my date that this would definitely be the next Friday night drink spot for me and my girls. I absolutely love a drink that is not only tasty, but brings on the buzz, too!
by Kathleen N. on I have been wanting to check out this party for so long and I finally went this month. Hands down, one of my favorite parties in the city. It's a bit cheesy, but so worth rubbing up against all the sweaty bodies on the dance floor. It seems like every time you hear a song come in, the whole place seems to scream with joy. If you love cheesy 80's and 90's music mixed with current hits, you will be down to get down. Extra points because some of the party goers rock costumes. I love that! The only downfall is the massive line to get in the place before midnight. If you can chill and wait, you wont have to wait in a long line outside. But no matter what, you might wait a minute for drinks once you get inside. This party attracts a large, Marina-ish type crowd, but who cares. You are too busy having fun inside with friends to really even care who you are dancing next to.
by Caroline Y. on I liked the patio at this bar because it wasn't overcrowded even on a Saturday night. There's a bar on the patio. Good pomegranate margaritas but really strong. Actually, all the drinks were good and strong. I think our bartender Alejandro was the strong-drink-making culprit. Who's complaining though? He serves shots of Patron chilled without even being asked. Who can ask for anything more? No complaints here.
