I like this place. I usually come here for Russian parties. The DJ's are cool, the bartenders are fat enough, there's a place to sit - which is very important)) To those, who couldn't find the restroom on the second floor, go straight ahead and it's on your left ^_^

Eh. That's exactly I feel about this place. Eh. The food was alright. I tried a bunch of different things and nothing really wowed me. I left this place still a bit hungry. It seems like at a certain point in the night, this place goes from restaurant to bar/nightcclub. When I was there, it seemed to be making that transition right smack in the middle of our meal. It was weird to be stared at by the new crowd coming in for cocktails and dancing. For being in the Mission, this place seems to attract a large, young Marina-ish and bridge and tunnel, party bus crowd. If you are coming to the Mission for a late night destination, I can think of a bunch of other cool places to go to in the area then this place. I came here on another occasion for brunch on the rooftop. The view up there is amazing and breathtaking, but the food (again) was nothing to write home about.

Who doesn't like to watch Mexican wrestling during a romantic dinner? Ai dios mio! I celebrated my birthday here last year and it was one of the best birthday's I've ever had. The VMC was the obvious choice because it appealed to both friends and family alike. We had a party of 30 people that had dinner beforehand and the service was great. Everybody loves the ambiance. The restaurant is very dimly lit and there are two large plasma screen tv's with Mexican wrestling, cartoons, etc playing at all times, velvet paintings on the wall with skeleton versions of Elvis, Frida, Che, and other prominent hispanic celebreties and a list of tequilas that will make you want to slap yo mama. The food is pretty good, it's not the greatest Mexican food in LA but it's not the worst either. They play great music and the back patio is such a great place to hang out in the Summer. It is right next door to the Beauty Bar, TOKIO and the Burgandy Room is across the street. This comes highly recommended from this Mexican.
