We all drank more than should normally be considered acceptable in a professional setting... but like I said we all did it so that's OK. Cool, diverse crowd. Likely because Martuni's is located in between the Castro, the Mission, SOMA, and Hayes Valley. Maybe because they play such an eclectic blend of music. Either way, I like. The highlight was rocking out on the dance floor to Madonna's "Ray of Light." I love that jam. I think I invented a new dance move there too. Auf.
by Erin N. on One of my favorite venues. Gorgeous building, great sound, amazing bands. There are a few spots that make it really hard to see the stage, but for the most part, it doesn't really matter where you sit/stand. It's well worth the drive from Sacramento.
by Aly D. on it was nice to find a pub that had really good guiness on tap. sometimes when guiness is on tap it tastes all metallic like or just plain weird. no no this guiness was awesome and perfect for watching the brazil v australia game. relaxed atmosphere and pretty clean, this place could use a freakin air conditioning system. its a little hot in there, and thats even before i started drinking. bar tender was pretty friendly and helpful when i asked if he knew of a brazilian place we could hang out at afterwards. i'd go back.
