The venue is amazing, huge, vegas style, laser show, glitzy... bla bla bla. That being said- the crowd is lame. The so-called models that go there may have been models 20 years ago and now appear in plastic surgery ads in the local newspaper. It takes forever to get a drink at the bar & you have to elbow your way through the Russian mail order brides. The dudes are either sugar daddies in their 50s or K-Fed want-to-be's. Make no mistake, it is certainly entertaining & if you're drunk enough and with the right group of people possibly even fun. Most likely won't go again unless entertaining guests from out of town.

Okay, so maybe I'm a LITTLE biased, but I loved SUGAR! The atmosphere is so cozy and how could you not love the fireplace? It is so awesome and the comfy chairs are just asking for you to curl up with a good book and a steaming cup of coffee. The colors are so warm and inviting it makes you feel like you could be in your living room. I went there for lunch and it was delicious. I had the Turkey Waldorf sandwich with the side salad. It was excellent. I really wanted to try one of their fresh baked pastries but was too stuffed from lunch. The staff there is so nice and helpful it is the kind of place that you want to go and hang out with your friends. I'm definitely going to check out the night scene!!! And the little room they have upstairs is so cool, a perfect spot for a private party.

Service was so-so: we waited for over an hour after ordering our dinner before it arrived. Our waitress was very inconsistent. Throughout the evening she would either be irritated if asked for something or very accommodating... We ordered every single vegetarian dish they offered (we were a large group of very hungry vegetarians) they were all pretty tasty however very very spicy. This comes from someone who grew up on Middle Eastern and East Indian food... it was SPICY. Slight complaint I have about their food is that they veggie dishes all tasted very similar. It could quite possibly be the way Ethiopian food is, I've only had it once before so I don't know. Overall, I enjoyed the food. I don't see myself going back there since we chose that restaurant for the music and they didn't deliver. The musicians were great but it wasn't the type of Jazz we were looking forward to. Not bad though.
