by Mariya A. on Food is not bad at all A bit overpriced, not too unique, but a definite 3-star. The atmosphere is awesome, on my top 10 list of places to go with your friends. One HUGE minus - forget about trying to speak to your friends there. Too loud for what it is - a restaurant and a lounge should NEVER have the music on THIS loud. Some nights are better than the other, but generally speaking - prepare to scream... lol If you're wearing white sneakers, you'll never get in (THANK GOD!) As a matter of fact, if you're wearing white sneakers anywhere besides the gym, you should be deported to a Moon or something, but that's another story. STK has a trendy, but yet timeless atmosphere and generally a very classy crowd.
by M S. on This is one of the finest music venues I've ever been to in my whole life. Beautiful, rich decor. Gorgeous woodwork and columns inside. Smaller-size, with an intimate feel. And a balcony. Plus, they serve food (albeit a little pricey, but hey, whatev, right?). FUN FACT: Read the "history" on the menu- very entertaining! (no pun intended). The GAMH underwent several make-overs over the decades, and has been open since the '20's... coolio!
by Sanda Doughtie on I love this club!! Granted, the patrons are odd and the crackheads outside are pushy, but they have great music and you can always find a dance partner! Just lower your expectations before you go...and go to have fun!!!
