by Jade G. on I love this place... granted I've only ever tried their Delux burger and sweet potato fries, both of which are amazing. Normally I'm a fairly picky eater so I was a little overwhelmed by the description of the Delux burger, but after a friend convinced me to just go for it without any substitutions, I tried it... and fell in love. Soooo good. The restaurant is pretty small and has a unique vibe to it. They serve a huge selection of beers. No complaints with the service. I wouldn't suggest taking a larger party here, as it is so small and takes a long time to sit. Depending on when you go, you can face a pretty long wait.
by Juliane N. on Came here for my honeyy, Tracy A.'s 22nd birthday a couple weeks ago and I was super excited since I've heard many great things through friends and always wanted to come here. And, I would rather go here then Rohan, which is where she wanted to go since there's a dance floor here. Sorry Trace! MG and I convinced you to come here instead! Glad there wasn't a cover but knew the drinks were gonna be costly! Thank goodness the BF went cuz I would of been $300 broker instead of him. The line wasn't long at all when we got there but then it ended up getting longer and longer as the night started. The crowd was pretty mixed but I did notice more Asians then any other ethnic. Bouncers and bartenders were super friendly! PLUS! The upstairs was more classy and lounge-y while downstairs was where the dance floor "cave" was at. What I've read and heard was that it gets hot and sweaty down there but I was pretty cool and wasn't hot at all. I did see people sweating perfusively though. Gross. Lines for the ladies bathroom was WAYY too long! I really wanted to go use the men's bathroom since there was no wait and since I already saw Linh go in there so I knew I wouldn't be the first. =) Drinks? HELLLA expensive! $12 for a shot of henny?! WOW. The BF spent $96 on 8 shots? and Over $100 with a big ass tip? Fuck no. Way expensive. BUT the shots were pretty big so yea. Then as the night ended, he ended up spending around $300 and I ended up spending a little over $150? Damn, that's like a 4 night stay almost for when we go LA! All in all, we had a great time and would definitely come back again.. BUT pre drink before so we can save!!
by Ebonie Courie on about 99% of the time, i hate old city. sure, there is great ice cream to be had and during the day it can be great but... if you've ever been here on the weekend and you're half reasonable, you know this is an asshole magnet. my company recently had our christmas party here, in late feb., we do it when we can. and i have to say this place was pretty great. very stimulating decor, fun bathrooms, decent food and servers who were dancing 'cause they got it in their blood, not cause they were getting paid to. a laudable beer selection and bacon flavored vodka. yup. i dont like vodka usually and like all good hearted people, i love bacon, lo and behold, WORLDS COLLIDE! a+ for effort on that one. so to sum it all up..... i may never go back when it looks riddled with tools but i had a great time. thanks and keep dancin the night away..................................
