I stopped by briefly for a launch party, and the venue looked great! It's seems a bit small, but one doesn't realize that there is another downstairs area but I didn't spend too much down there at all. I usually don't drink too much so I don't have much opinion about the bar service, but for a venue, it is great. Definitely clubby -- even at 7pm, it was very dark inside. During my 20 minutes there, it was hard for me to distinguish whether it was an eco-friendly place until I noticed the LED light bulbs. The concept is pretty damn cool! For their environmental, eco-friendly efforts, they go up 1 star (from 3 stars) in my book. If you are a clubber, stop by here - music is pretty good too!

Oh how I wish I lived in New York so I could go to Bob's every Thursday night. And why was I only introduced to this place on my last visit --beats me--but I'm not gonna complain. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! It wasn't too crowded, but we did get there after midnight, I don't remember paying a cover charge--even better. After a few Jaeger bombs we were feeling good and dancing up a storm. The DJ played a good mix of hip hop and top 40. He even obliged when I asked him to play California Love--our favorite jam when we're away from home--the locals weren't feeling that song but us Californians were. I can't wait till my next trip to the NYC, so I can go back to Bob's!

It's the largest aquarium in the world, how could it not be amazing? They have Whale Sharks, Beluga Whales, Giant Octopi, Penguins, Japanese Spider Crabs, River Otters and zillions of beautiful and neat looking fish. There's an awesome underwater tunnel that you can walk through were the Whale Sharks are. It feels like you're from the future when you're in there. And the huge fish tank with theater-like seating is awesome if you have your iPod with you. And I really liked the display of the coral reef with waves breaking every few minutes or so. Also they have a whole section that holds fresh water fish and creatures that are native to Georgia. Minus 1 star for the mass amounts of kids and what I thought was pretty mediocre architecture and graphic design throughout the place. It doesn't have a really modern look and feel that I thought it might. And they use way too much Futura and Century Gothic fonts everywhere. Poor art direction. But it still doesn't take away from how beautiful the water life is. And the cost of going here twice amounts to almost the same as buying an annual pass. Get an annual pass and go as you please!
