I've been here twice and both times on a Tues... Very HOOD night... So packed u can't move. The girls in sections are forced up on the booths all along the wall like birds literally smashed up against other girls you don't know by order of the bouncers. The music is pretty good on these nights at least. But damn..

This is a review of the restaurant (downstairs), not the club. Let's be clear about this: they may have remodeled to look all classy-like, but the Kong is not a place to take a date for dinner. It is a place to take a date for 3am crab rangoon after the party's been broken up by the cops. There's an art of ordering at the Kong, because some dishes are great while others are so heavy on grease and msg that your body will complain. Very popular with the late-night crowd, and for good reason: crab rangoon, scallion pancakes, and chicken peking ravioli. If you're looking for something more substantial: I love the pineapple fried rice (it has chicken and shrimp and curry flavor, and isn't greasy). Others swear by the pork friend rice (I find it too greasy) and the drunken noodles (spicy flat noodes with chicken - good if you're in the right state). In any case, it's been an important part of the Harvard College experience for decades. If you're up late, it's worth a visit. Also, they DO deliver. Not sure about the radius. And the restaurant is wheelchair accessible now that the remodel is done.
