by Erika C. on The Mezzanine is dance party central that keeps on giving the good stuff until the wee hours of the morning, and I most definitely revel in every.last.minute. I was here most recently on Saturday night for the Treasure Island After party (ft. The Foals and Tilly & The Wall!!), and had an absolute blast. The crowd was hip and into just letting lose and getting crazy, and the acts where right there with them. DJ Aaron Axelson spun before and in between sets to keep the party alive, and the alcohol flowed freely. There is a $20 minimum on credit cards, so that's kind of a bummer, but there is always a silver lining: cute little hipster boys willing to shell out for drinks. Thanks again guys! Also, the bathrooms are pretty rad; nice mesh sinks. And they're CLEAN! Major pointage.
