by Stephenie Machia on Used to go here all the time for dancing and drinks. It would get cramped upstairs but was good because there was no cover. I recently went there for dinner and actually was very surprised. The atmosphere is great - trees inside - huge space - feels like you are eating outside. Menu is straight forward american fare - very good mussels, good beers and decent entrees. Recommended.
by Carissa M. on I've been once and haven't been back. Why ? Cause it's a clusterfuck to be the crowd.. and guess what it doesn't matter who is playing .. it's never chill or enjoyable. I son't dig a moshpit at a small crowded club .. that shit scares me. It's a prett small club and the crowd is usually of the unfun flavor.. a little gay a little thug and a little hoochie.. they have some great performers that play there so I'll give them that.
by Song Merzig on Do you all remember when this place first opened and was basically impossible to get into? Yeah, that's not really a problem any more. I have very specific rules for clubs, and they consist of not waiting in line and not paying cover. Fortunately, when you have a big group of people, this is easiest to solve via bottle service. We came here for Christmas Eve, aka Matzoh Ball, aka Jews Storm the City. The music was good, the service was decent, the crowd was good looking and fun. Points off for random people bumrushing our table, and while our waitress tried to kick them out, they just kept coming back. Overall, it was a decent time, but nothing special as far as the NYC bar and club scene is concerned. If there was someone special spinning there, I'd go again, maybe.
