Basement Bhangra! Went there with a friend, and it was so much fun! We got there before 8pm for the $5 entry and free "mojitos" (really, a sugary mojito-flavored slushy). The lesson starts at 9pm, so you have to plan to entertain yourself for an hour, and perhaps shell out for $10 plus drinks (we realized you might as well go for the mojitos/caiprinhas/etc. since well drinks cost just as much). The lesson was really fun, and gave us enough moves to improvise once DJ Rheka took over. The whole thing had an awesome come-one-come-all vibe. It was a really fun, positive night, I recommend.

I recently had a wedding of my dreams at Terra Gallery. The space is beautiful, and required very little decorations.( I fell in love with it at the first glance). Dusty and Amy really helped out. Amy took careful notes on everything I would like to have for this day and Dusty was present through out the whole event to make sure everything ran smoothly. ( and it did). It was beautiful, and I know that I will remember this day forever. Thank you so much to Dusty and Amy.

We had to pay a 10 dollar cover, I f---ing HATE cover charges. When I walked into DNA, I suddenly realized my preppy coat and fruity scarf did not quite fit fashionably with the other customers at DNA. This place was either all goth or dudes dressed up like Total Recall. That's fine by me, I'm down with goth chicks and Total Recall. Why was I here again? I mean I was thoroughly wasted, and in more of a mood to hit sack than hit the dance floor. An evil man known only as "the Judge" dragged me there that's why. This bad man bought me some kind of mai-thai tasting drink that tasted like it was 90% rum. Extra points, right there. Anyhow, downstairs had a bar and a decent sized dance floor, they were playing some kinda gothy/techno music. There were raised areas where girls dressed in only lingerie were dancing. I saw a bunch of girls walking around dressed this way, extra points again. As we headed upstairs we discovered a lounge area, a second bar, another dance floor, and some kind of taqueria or place you can buy food. The second dance floor was playing crazy mashups that I liked. I ended the night with 2 dollars in my wallet, most the damage done by DNA.
