Without fail this is my first stop after passing through security when I've got morning flights out of Austin. Some of the best breakfast tacos I've ever had. Never ordered anything else here, not a whole lot else on the menu for vegetarians/pescatarians- which normally I'd probably complain about- but since this is BBQ, it really wouldn't do me any good.. But the breakfast tacos are damn good. Damn good. Damn good breakfast tacos. Did I mention the breakfast tacos are damn good? Damn good.

"We don't even talk anymore. And we don't even know what we argue about..." It was here that the Boyz II Men serenaded me in a private session and handed out roses as they sang. And by private, I mean oh only about 250 thirty year olds, but this story isn't about the details really because in my head I was the only girl there. This story is about a cheap teenager that never got to see them in concert as a kid, and finally feeling satisfied 18 yrs later. Crappers! I just dated myself, but the tickets were the value! It was only like 35 bucks. So years later I saved me some money, they sounded just as good and this venue was awesome. Would have been a mega fan except for the fact that drinks come with a 20% markup. Gah! 20%!!! Already included. I guess this place is swanky and all that. The sound was good though, and the 30 yr olds pretended they were also 15 again and pranced about annoyingly and cut right in front of you. Also here we saw a band of crazy amazon women. That must have been a whole FOOT taller than me. I'm not that short actually. I'm 5'5. So they were like 6'5!!! Xena Warrior Princess eat your heart out. Had we been standing outside in the daylight they could have shielded me from the harsh rays of the sun purely with their long casted shadow. They scared the guys in the group we went with. They sung all their hits as well as a bunch of Motown hits. It was awesome. I knew every song but one. This Boyz II Men experience was brought to me by Mezzanine SF and fellow elite rateclubser Carol L. It was perfection.

I hear the food is great and the staff is fun and lively. Judging from what I saw as I walked to the stairwell leading to the basement it seemed exciting. But at the time I was already full and only wanted to dance and drink - never knew they had a floor down there. I had gone for a friend's b-day. All I can say is that I discovered the drink, Incredible Hulk here and have also began my journey into the wonderful art of... POLE DANCING!!! Who knew? Yes, I said pole dancing...they have a lovely pole in the corner...and from what people have told me...that I'm quite good. Apparently, allegedly I do this great number where I pull myself close to the top, hang back and then proceed to slide down the pole.....I don't know what they put in my incredible hulk but I need to get one of those again if ever there's a pole in the vicinity. OWWW OWWWW!!!!!! ;D
