I just moved to SF from NYC two weeks ago and for my first real club experience in SF, it was pretty darn good. I went on a Friday night and they played a lot of of hip-hop and R&B, which I'm into so I was very happy. This place probably deserves 3 stars but I decided to give it an extra star for it being my first experience in the Bay Area! Drinks were okay, $5 cover charge if you emailed them to get on the guest list (though they don't even check so you can just say you're on the guest list!), $10 otherwise. The dance floor was packed and people were grinding and gyrating everywhere--but hey, that just means they were having a good time. There are sleazy older Asian dudes everywhere trying to pick you up (which is apparently a staple of the SF club scene, from what I hear). It got really hot on the dance floor, so prepare to sweat literally! If you're looking for a night out with mainstream music and a place to dance your ass off, 330Ritch isn't half-bad.

fun, festive environment. Good, fast food. Outstanding service. We said we were in a hurry and they were 'on it' every step of the way, with continuing acknowledgment that they knew we had a slim time line and were going to ensure we got out under an hour and were on the case.

Real rating about a 2.7. This place was formerly Soul Vegetarian, it's now under new ownership. However, unfortunately all the gripes people had with Soul Veg, still apply to VVC. I really want to love this place, it's super close to my house, I love soul food and I want to support locally owned establishments. But, the truth is while some of the dishes are very good, the prices are astronomical. When you do the LA math it doesn't add up. I ordered a salad and a slice of sweet potato pie and almost fell off my stool when the waitress rang it up for 19.95. WHAT? The salad consisted of a few scant pieces of faux meat, raisins (?), romaine lettuce, soycheese, tortilla strips, store bought dressing for $12.95!!! I can get an all organic salad or bowl at M Cafe for at least a buck cheaper, I'm in a better part of town, sitting at a trendy spot and not on the dancefloor of a club. Not to mention it was barely edible. I've had lunches at M Cafe and comparable places than I have had here and something about that seems off. I really think the pricing should be in line with what you find at Pure luck, appetizer, drink and entree for under $17. After my last experience I think I'm done with the place. I want to love it, like I said, the owners seem really nice, but I think the menu and the prices need some serious reconsideration.
