I was here for my 21st birthday and it was a disappointment. Music was bad, service was bad, crowd was ultra-bad. It was so bad I started to drink vodka like it was water to try to ease the bad-ness, which worked to a certain degree. I believe it was upstairs that was hip-hop and downstairs that was techno, anyway it hardly makes a difference. The crowd was a mess, I can't even describe it, everyone was below average and kind of awful, pathetic men trying to say something smooth to impress me, girls dressed in polyester or trying to be all nyc-trendy but failing miserably. I didn't enjoy the music and the promoter my cousin was friends with turned out to be the biggest douchebag of all. At least one of my friends had a good time, how that happened I have no idea.

I've been here multiple times, and you've got to give a place credit where it's due for mixing art and alcohol. The most recent time I went, the artists were painting live while people drank, danced, and mingled around them. Watching the artists' creative processes blossoming before my eyes made me wish that I had something that resembles a talent. Although I was pretty depressed that I was destined to lead a lackluster life, it was so convenient for me to drown my sorrows in alcohol as the bar was right next to me. Perf. The music is usually great for dancing, and the only downer to this place is probs the $30 minimum to charge your drinks on your credit card. Honestly, Minna? Is that really necessary? Other than that though, this place is pretty golden.

Was here a couple of weekends ago per suggestion of a friend who was here once and had "great food and a good time". Negative. First of all, our waitress had A.D.D. She kep messing up our orders and answered your question with another answer... and jumped from one end of the table to the opposite end. She was definately WHACKED. Second. The food wasn't all that. No offense, but I felt like I was eating at Rainforest Cafe. Get my drift? I would think a celebrity restaurant would be more authentic food...and fresh. But then again, this place is more commercial/management driven than chef driven. Third and last....the house special mojitos that our waitress raved about sucked! They were too sweet and tasted like cough syrup. I'll just stick with smaller restaurants.
