So it was 11:20 pm on NYE and I had just met up with a group of friends by the 16th Street and Mission BART station. I had no idea where we were headed but all I heard my friends say were: "Do you want a beer?" "We have to walk 0.8 miles and get inside before midnight!!" "Do you want a beer? It's kind of warm." "Where the hell are we going?" Did I mention that it was cold and a little rainy? We got to the long line at like 11:45 and realized that we wouldn't get inside before 12. But someone in our party popped a bottle of champagne and we celebrated outside. Woooooo! I thought it was going to end up being really crowded and annoying but it wasn't like that it all. Well yes, it was crowded but not so uncomfortable that I couldn't move. Drinks were pretty on point, though it was cash only. What am I complaining about...I didn't pay. hahaha 80s music videos played on giant screens inside, which was pretty awesome. They even played old-school Tron movie footage for a hella long time. I liked the high ceilings. It was too bad that we couldn't see the fireworks from where we were, but oh well.

A girlfriend and I came here at the reccommendation of friends. We didn't order drinks, but our food was terrific. The portions were generous and tasty. Our waiter gave us some delicous complimentary shots; that was an appreciated gesture so we tipped him well. Good food, lounge atmosphere (I preferred the quietness of the earlier evening), and good service.
