by Jorge Ireson on I like Top Flr. This place has all the earmarks of a nice meet up place for friends. There is nothing amazing about this place, but it has something about it that's endearing. Top Flr is a cute and trendy restaurant with a mellow hipster vibe, unique drinks, and a decent menu. Like I said, not amazing but definitely a nice chill spot to sip a drink or have a good convo over a meal with a friend.

I guess the venue is not necessarily for everyone, but if you're more focused on vibrant culture, unique peformances, independent artists and an extremely diverse, artistic crowd-go, go go! Poetry slams are sick, I performed here with a youth spoken word group in high school and even though most of us were not well-versed in slam poetry, the atmosphere was ridiculously encouraging. I cannot say enough good things about this place, but if you're objective is to find a see-and-be-seen spot with a fifteen dollar appletini, go elsewhere. If you want a lively, open minded and rousing crowd, this is your place. I only went to one Friday Night Slam and it left me wishing I could be a regular.
by JENNIFER C. on 'great sports bar to watch football. you will go into overload watching from the multiple screens. horrible chicken wings. good sliders. gross bloody mary. last but not least, horrible service from our server. the hostess was nice and friendly, the food came fast, but our drinks took forever and the server forgot our last drink.
