by Jenna P. on The decoration and setup is great. Space to dance and mingle. The first time I went to Roe was after happy hour on a Friday. It wasn't very crowded when I got there but as the night went on more people started to show up. Eventually went upstairs, it was pretty nice, a little more space for dancing. Made some friends. Good drinks. Last night I went at 10pm, alone. I got in free because I know one of the promoters. I ended up making some friends inside. They were playing house music which was pretty good but Ruby Skye has real house music. I didn't stay long at Roe last night because the promoter I was going to hang out with was busy so me and my new friends went to Ruby Skye. The drinks are Roe were good. The coat check was ridiculous, I wore my coat and a thin jacket and I handed them to her and she told me $6 - seriously?! I'm not going to pay $6 so I took them back and glad I didn't pay because I left a few minutes later anyway.
by Sabrina Greider on Definitely a college crowd, but it wasn't too rowdy when we went there on the 4th of July at around 4:30. We had tacos and the fried stuffed avocado with the 'caliente' salsa choice. They have great salsas - we got a choice of two with the chips and both were satisfyingly hot. We'll be back.
by jen l. on 1. this place is an asian invasion!! which may or may not be a bad thing. 2. BARS - there were quite a few stations. made getting drinks easy despite the large crowds. 3. really expensive drinks. 5. MUSIC - they play a little of everything and not enough of anything.
