by Josh G. on The bartender lost my only credit card leaving me with no cash or crdit at 2:30 in the morning. He was an asshole about the whole thing as was the rest of the incompitent staff. One of the managers when asked about my missing card replied "that kid isint even old enough to drink" and completly ignored me . I'm 28 . Called the next day to ask them to destroy the card and yet another incompitent bitch refused to even take a note for me.
by Donovan Keniry on I have three words for this club: BRIDGE AND TUNNEL!!! This place is trashy. I think Cain sucks, but i would go to Cain for free. However i wouldn't go to Home if someone paid me! Inside Home is pretty small, very crowded, and the music is too loud. The table service area form a square in the center of the club, and a sort of racetrack around the outside. There's a bar towards the back, and the DJ booth is in the front, situated perfectly to deafen all party-goers. There's a patio in the back, where you can smoke. All i can really say is: don't go to Home. Its so trashy. When i was sitting out on the patio, there was a pretty big fight between some people who sounded like they were from Long Island or New Jersey. After the fight was over i went back inside and realized i had to leave when i saw some sweaty fool dancing on a table with no shirt on. Overall: Dont go here at all. I would have given the place zero stars but 1 one is least you can give. Pro's: None. Oh wait... the girl who was collecting money at the door looked pretty good. Con's: Small, too loud, trashy, its populated by the outer borough's finest Home and Guest House are connected, and you can get in by slipping the bouncer a simple $20. I decided to head out instead of paying because if the home is this shitty, then the guest house must be pure garbage.
by Joseph G. on We probably make it to White Windmill a couple of times a week to pick up baked goodies and iced bubble tea. The store is very nice - clean, open, very large. The chairs are comfortable and there is free wifi. The prices on baked stuff are reasonable, and most things we've had have been very good. This is a Korean bakery, and about 70 - 80% of the patrons are Korean. Every time we go there, we see non-Koreans walk in, look around with a baffled look on their face, and then turn around and walk out. I always want to say, "Stop, you should really try something - the food here's good!" I think some people are just intimidated, when they really don't have reason to be. Everyone we've dealt with who works at White Windmill has been extremely friendly. I will admit that I'm not a big fan of the coffee here. It's pretty weak, almost like what you'd get in any restaurant. Kind of disappointing for a place that seems to be going for the coffee-house atmosphere. For most people, though, that doesn't seem to be a deterrent. And I've learned my lesson and usually just stick with bubble tea or regular tea. Also - you should note that the zip code rateclubs has listed is wrong. This business is actually in 30340. If you followed the directions from the link here, it would take you somewhere completely different.
