My friends and I made it out to Temple last night and it was legit. I was impressed by the beer selection and the atmosphere. It was kind of expensive to play pool but there were 6 of us so it wasn't really that bad. One thing I will say though is the bartender totally ignored me for a good 5 minutes to flirt with some drunk floozys and give them more booze.

Oh gosh. Strata. I hate the club scene. I really do, but when you want to be a good host and take your visitors to places like "this," you do what you gotta do. It was a cold and wintery night, an I was pretty comfortable. I didn't do the whole thong and t-shirt look like the other women did, and I had to take verbal abuse from these whores on heels when the bouncer let us inside instead of these shivering vaginas (literally). We got inside and my friend found a stalker instantly who stayed on her ass like a hawk (niiice!) The drinks were sooooo expensive, but I managed to get tipsy after one long island (it was basically gasoline in a cup). The music was fun until the obsessive-compulsive DJ tediously partitioned the music by genres which kind of messed up the flow towards the end. It was fun watching people have sex on the floor (also known as dancing)...that was interesting...annnnd many of the guests had a hard time keeping their drinks in their cups (it's raining alcohol everybody!!! WHOOOO)! Soooo, Strata? You suck ass.

Do not come to Zoo Bar if you want to just lay back and lounge. This is definitely an amplified club where everyone is always on their feet and dancing. In fact, sometimes is wayyy to many people there to even dance. This club has gone through many different name changes, but the building is still the same. There are three floors, although only the first two are used frequently. There are bars on both floors, and a couple of pool tables on the bottom floor (which can get in the way sometimes). The stage is kind of circular, usually hip hop artist would perform up there. Below the stage is the square, not-too-big dance floor for all the debauchery. This club is right next door to St. Andrews (18+ up crowd), so the streets are always packed with people. My advice is to get there early...regardless of what day you go. Also, go with patience.... because you will need it.
