by Felecia P. on I want to express my dissatisfaction with Aja and the staff. This by far was the worst experience I have ever encountered with a upscale restaurant, the whole evening was a disaster. My daughter wanted to go to Aja for her birthday, because she loves Asian infusion cruisine, and wanted a lounge type atmosphere for she and her guest, that's why she selected Aja. She called in advance and made reservation for a party of 10 people. When we arrived the restaurant was extremely crowded, we had to wait for quite sometime before we could be seated. When we were seated they put us at a table that didn't accommodate everyone in our party. We complained to the hostess and the Manager, and wanted to know what they were going to do about finding a table to accommodate the entire party. All we were told was that they had other large parties that night, and they would sit 2 of our guest somewhere else. This was toally unacceptable, and at this point it was to late to try and find another restaurant. The service sucks and the food was average, I won't ever go back and I certainly don't recommend anyone going to Aja for fine dining. Felecia P. 1/21/11
by Zonia Apfel on I went here a couple weeks ago, and it's GUIDO CITY.... If you like seaside heights, blowouts and gumbas in tank tops with tans, then by all means, go here. I will definitely not be back.
by Jed S. on Place was great, view was stunning, dining on the boat was romantic, great service. I worked for Philly Mag for a little while and they held an event here which was a blast; even got one of the pictures I took in the mag's Out and About section. Ended up also getting a gift card for here also, which was a great surprise. Definitely recommend it for a special occasion.
