Beautiful crowd (but then again, everyone in south beach are beautiful) It was perfect because the girls and I had time to layout, shop and have a late dinner because the club doesn't start "poppin" until 1230am-1:30am ( unlike vegas where everyone starts lining up at 930!) They have these screens by the DJ booth that play the music videos of the songs that the DJ plays. (perfect entertainment if you someone thats not drinking is tagging along) Go-Go dancers were also entertaining. I remember at one point, I just sat there for nearly 30 minutes just watching the screens and the go-go dancers. haha One of 3 nightclubs i'd go to in south beach everyyy visit. haha
by Dorla Gillogly on Tao is alot of fun and consistently good. Make a reservation or expect to wait in the hip lounge area. The brick walls, large Buddha and overall decor make this place amazing. Make sure you visit the restrooms. The service is usually great. The giant fortune cookie is a must have for dessert.
by Katherine M. on Wow. I went in to see what "Top Chef Kevin" was made of, and I was blown away. I went to dinner with 5 other girls, and we all loved our meals. Chef Kevin even came in to talk to us. (no spoilers, though!) All of the food was thoughtfully prepared and well-portioned. I loved the southern influences, and the quality of the ingredients was unbeatable. Lots of focus on local, organic product. The space is nice on the inside, but in a random location across from a strip club. I swear I've driven by this place around 50 times and never thought it was anything special. It's a little more pricey than your average dinner out, but definitely worth it. I want to go back to try the 3 or 5-course dinner with wine pairings. Good date spot, or place to take the in-laws.
