Summary: a night filled with "WTH's" I went on a Saturday night with a few of my girlfriends. First of all, parking is HELL! One of the lots was charging $30!!! WTH! I don't know if this is typical in LA, but that's pretty ridiculous. We ended up paying $15 to park 4 blocks away from the club. My friends and I were on the guest list and knew a promoter who was working the event that night. That didn't help us at all. We ended up waiting in line for 1.5 hours even though it was a small group of girls! WTH. The bouncers there play favorites when it comes to who they let in depending on how much they like the promoter or not. I guess they didn't like ours. =0( We ended up staying for only an hour or so once we got inside. BEWARE! The drinks here are more expensive than the drinks in VEGAS! Ended up paying $13 for a shot of 151. Seriously... WTH There are a bunch of creepers there...ages 21-50+. And the older the guys get, the more douchey they act. I suggest if you decide to go, get in line before 10:30. Ladies, make sure you wear something tight and skimpy, or else the bouncers won't give you the time of day. Fellas, make sure you go with a group of girls who are wearing something tight and skimpy.

This is a great spot. Lovely cocktails that aren't $12 - some pisco treats, nice things w/ elderflower liquer, they always use fresh citrus juices, but it's cool to just have a beer Friendly and professional bartenders (frequently the owners, who seem genuinely nice) Really cute & clean inside without being fancy-ass & pretentious, plus great lighting and decent seating. Good dj's (mostly) with the music at the perfect talking and listening but still rocking volume. Often not too crowded.

Favorite bar in NYC without a doubt! Go early to relax. Go late to dance. The food is delicious too. I would avoid going in the rain unless you get a kick out of watching people scream and run for cover. :)
