Sometimes this place is horrible, empty, and insignificant. However, I have also had some decent and fun times here. On new years, this place was jam packed, no place to move let alone walk. The coat check took an hour. The bathroom line another hour. Forget about getting anything from the bar. But it was an 18 and over night, and I guess thats why the crowd was such a mess. I also came here for circus Saturdays (21 and over). I would have to say, I had a blast. The club was full but still spacious. The music was on target and the performances made it kinda over the top. Me and my friends dance for hours and also got great service. The one negative that will always happen, is that guys at this club seem like seagulls looking for food. They are super handsy and pushy for girls to dance with them. Sometimes it forced upon girls. Its a complete turn off.

Fries were soggy and over salted. Mayo condiment very salty. Burger was ok kind of cold. Bacon cheese mix nothing special says applewood bacon but the waiter explained to me it was like bacon bits. Bacon bits really? The hype is why people come but honestly there are way better burger places out there. It's a trendy place with fancy lighting and a nightclub type atmosphere. I came at lunch and there is no lunch price its still $9.50 cents for burger with no fries. Grain feed, organic I get it. Thats why it is pricey. But it should knock my socks off and this place does not. Comes with carrots and beet strings hmmm. Good for groups but it is family style seating in the middle of the burger joint. I did notice they have a large selection of not your typical beers so I may come back one day for a brew.

After quite a delicious meal at bar boulud, Chris C and i decided to forfeit dessert and go for drinks instead, yes, on a monday night because we're super adventurous and love to take risks. Since our last wild days in vegas, we were curious as to how tao in ny would hold up in comparison. Yes yes, the decoration is beautiful, and theres a huge buddha (which, fyi, i don't think any restaurants in asia actually have buddhas in the establishment....it is a religious symbol after all. It's like having statues/paintings of Jesus in a restaurant...) But that's pop culture for you. We only came for drinks, thank god. Because the wait seemed endless and even in the lounge area, our server seemed over whelmed. as far as I could tell, there was one girl serving about 10 tables...so needless to say, service was S L O W It's a nice place, a good mix of crowd. But wouldn't go out of the way to come here again.
