Website Description and Information
Bottom of the Hill features some of the finest original music in San Francisco seven nights a week. Music ranges from hard rock and funk to rock-a-billy, alternative, folk and punk.
by Federico Buchalter on I do have to agree, to describe Cielo as a club is a far stretch. However, I will say going to Cielo is an alternative experience. Good music, I hate places who play Top 40s shit, the DJs here are original. The bar is crazy packed, so get bottle service. Bottle service here was surprisingly cheaper than most places, extra two starts $290 for Absolut. If you're a girl, you'll spend thirty minutes waiting to go to the restroom, but it is conveniently next to their outdoor smoking area . . . I don't know why it has so many bad reviews, a party is as good as you make it and if you cant afford to get drunk, well - Cielo is obviously not for you.
by Terry Burdzel on This is not a bad place, you just have to know what to expect. Register online before 8pm or so the night of and you will not have to pay the pricey $20 cover charge. The music will vary by day but you can usually find a good mix of hip-hop, dance, some dub and club music. This place is HUGE with 3 different areas- Minus one start for expensive drinks, but overall a decent fun place.
by Joy C. on Stopped by for a friend's birthday the other night and spent most of my time downstairs. The room is not large but has some seating in the back and a bar in the front area. Not a bad space for a birthday party. Music was pretty standard for a Saturday night (top 40, hip/hop) and overall I had a pretty good time althought felt a bit claustrophobic at times because it was so crowded. I actually kind of like the décor even if its kind of cheesy. Drinks are not cheap - $18 for a ketel and sprite and an amstel light. Sigh... New York is killing my liver and my wallet =(
