Not a fan!!!! Extremely over crowded. You need to fight thru a sea of people that get irritated that you are saying excuse me just to get to the bar. There is no room to even adjust your seat while sitting at your table because they are all positioned so closely to each other. The drinks were super sweet & mostly syrup. The bar tab quickly adds up. Best part of all they are rude when you call to dispute any charges. Our lovely waiter took the liberty of adding an additional $133 dollars to my card. They only took two days to return my call & admit the error. Can't say I would go again! I've eaten at much better Asian restaurants since.

The reason why this place does well, e.g. everyone loves it, has a high rating, is because it is on a boat. Simple as that. The idea of drinking beer on the docks or bobbing in the gentle Hudson waters is enough to make any NYer a fan of this one of a kind bar. This bar, open to the elements, make for a great change of scene. It has a bar on the dock and a couple of bars on the boat. If you don't want to wait forever at the larger bar on the dock, go in the boat, go down one level on the rear and there is a "window bar." Essentially it is just one guy there and he sells beer. On the same level are restrooms. Beware of these restrooms, toilet paper is apparently a rare commodity at sea. There are only two stalls. Apparently, in the men's restroom, the urinals break and pee drips to the floor every time someone flushes. Yuck. And sometimes it smells like.. I won't lie... poop! So brace yourself, and don't wear flip flops down there.

Hmmm...where have I seen this before? Could it be...Tao, Las Vegas? Imagine being in a super ghetto knockoff bootleg version of Tao (if they sold versions of Tao in Chinatown, this would be it), and you can picture Temple. Subsitute the naked ladies bathing in rose petal water (Tao) for a couple buddhas purchased on clearance at Cost Plus World Market (Temple) and you've pretty much got the idea... I'll admit I don't go to clubs much these days, but man, when did people start dressing so damn skanky? And when did SF clubs start charging $12 for half a glass of gin and tonic? I will say that for an SF club, its pretty spacious, but also extremely extremely crowded. For the hour we waited in line with other not-so-cool people, I would have expected some quality control. Wrong. My advice: If you are desperate for an East-meets-West type of club, save your money and plan a trip to Vegas (or Miami). At least in Vegas, if you're a girl, you won't have to wait in line, pay a cover, or pay for your drinks. Look, you've already bought yourself a ticket with all the money you saved by not going to Temple!
