by David F. on Went here recently for a B-day party unfortunately not my cup of tea. Ended up hanging out for a about 2 hours then called it a night and headed over to Fluid for something more in line with what I like to listen to daily. I am willing to give this place another try but hopefully the music selection changes throughout the night at least. For now this is where I am at withmy rating hopefully a better experience should I try this place again.
by Lois W. on I came here before for lunch and had a great experience. So when my friend mentioned we'll be here for her bday, I was very much looking forward. Bday celebration was last night, somehow I left feeling never to come back for the food... Our group got the 3-course prix fixe: cesar salad or butternut squash soup, beef taco or veg curry or spring roll or chicken empanada or some other curry, mahi mahi or tandoori chicken or kobe beef burger. Some of us got drinks before ordering. My South Sea Tea tasted good, but it's a bit on the pricy side. I heard that the rosé was good, the beer some people got was nasty... When the food came, I was quite disappointed. Cesar salad wasn't any special, nor was I expecting otherwise. Butternut squash soup my bf got tasted like it was from a can - most people left at least half the soup in the bowl. A complimentary shot of vodka and red bull came to everyone on the table before the 2nd course, none around me thought there was much vodka in it. 2nd course: beef taco didsn't have much beef, my veg curry and naan was more like mild vegetable stew with pita bread. Chicken empanada was good though. The 3rd course was ok. Most of the guys ordered the kobe beef burger, I got the fish, and someone next to me got the tandoori chicken. My mahi mahi on spinach was cooked just right - flaky and soft. My friend's chicken was juicy and tender. However, my bf's burger was cold! Not sure if this was caused by the wait staff wanting to server all burgers at the same time, but it shouldn't be an excuse. Great environment, attentive service, and big portions are building blocks of a good restaurant, but I'm not coming back without good food.
by Marlyn Petticrew on I am sorry, but I just cannot TAKE this place. For entertaining the relatives from South Georgia, who have never been out of the country, it's their first and last trip to Greece. I am dying to check out the nightclub for people watching, but when is the last time I went to a 'club' - not in this century. One thing - the food is actually pretty good and when I need a fix I will call ahead for takeout and arrive precisely when the food is done to minimize my stay inside.
