This place can be a great place but it depends on what you might be looking for. I've been here once and I can say I didnt have the best experience BUT I do not want to judge this entire place on one experience alone. They played really great house music the night that I was there and that was a major plus. What I didnt like was the kind of people that were there. I have always been in the electronic scene and have always loved the fact that most (but not all) people are fun loving and open minded. This place seemed to have the upper class individuals that come by to stay only within their group of friends and quite frankly I found the type of people at this place pretty stuck up. Evil glances and girls that cut in front of you, and men that are obviously full of themselves. I did not think that the employees were the best either. I still would go back here, I just hope to have a better experience next time.

True to its name, Little Baobab is smaller in space and portion. However, my experience here was much better than at its sister restaurant Baobab Bissap. The restaurant itself was small, but surprisingly packed for a weeknight. Very casual place. Music playing from the DJ booth. Exotic Hummus ( http://www.rateclubs.com/bi...): It was more flavorful than regular hummus, but does not live up to its name. Crevette Coco ( http://www.rateclubs.com/bi...): Sauteed shrimp in coconut sauce. Love the coconut sauce. So fragrant and delicious. Could've done without the overly salty potatoes on the side. Mafe ( http://www.rateclubs.com/bi...): Chicken breast in peanut sauce. Another delicious dish. The chicken was nicely grilled and smothered with the thick and delicious sauce. Yum! Baked Salmon ( http://www.rateclubs.com/bi...): It sounds a bit plain, but that's far from the truth. Baked in spinach leaves, the salmon was perfect. My overall impression of this dish: healthy yet bursting with flavors. Another great girls dinner! =)

Great service, good food, good drinks, and dancing. Equals five stars. This place reminds a little of a place in London called On and On which had multiple levels and on each floor was a different theme restaurants, bars, nightlife. The Kress is a pricey Hollywood restaurant bar nightclub. The restaurant is on the ground floor with a large circular bar decorated in trendy black and red asianesque style. Below that in the basement is a nightclub with several more bars. The restaurant waiter will escort you in for free if you eat there. On the second floor is more restaurant seating for large groups. On the very top floor is and exclusive rooftop bar with a 360 degree view that you have to know someone to get in (knowing the waiter is not enough). The food in the restaurant was good. We had the sushi, lamb, bulgogi, carpaccio, sake, amongst other things (we were a large group). If you are wondering about price, I myself laid down (Florida talk) at least $140 plus whatever else leaked out of my wallet in the club downstairs (memory fails me, don't know why...). All in all it was well worth it. A lot of fun and an all in one experience. I assume that getting in upstairs is merely a bottleclub routine. Dress nice, make reservations, and don't be a schlep standing outside because you didn't realize this was a "nice" place. Dafe
