Great place for throwback, hip-hop music but don't come here if you're expecting to wildly flail your arms & legs to the latest hits. Personally, I prefer dancing to upbeat jams that I can shake it to. The bOb cocktails are rather mild, but very delicious. The White Gummy Bear was a freshly shaken sweet cocktail priced right at $10. Beers were $6 and shots were $8-10. Definitely not overpriced at all. The space is pretty small and got crowded fast at around 10.30p on a Friday night. Also, expect to pay a $5 cover on weekdays. Definitely a negative for me.

I had the worst and weakest drink in all of bar history of SF, and that's pretty bad. More than just the full-ice glass effect, boyfriend put a dabble of Jack in my $6 drink. and pathetic enough to give me a half-glass of water?! the front security guys were cool but the on-dance floor dudes were a bit too macho for the all woman crowd. I actually thought it bad that the Fem Bar continues to have their party here w/ such poor attitude to dyke looking women by the bar staff. (all except their sole female bartender, that is). While the space is dazzling..and that's why I agree to 1 star, it lacks ventilation to make dancing more than 3 songs enjoyable. the dj was great, but it's always better to have ladies dj for the ladies, YO. i'm not sure if I would go again aside from the fact that it was packed....
