by Art A. on Awesome fun, especially the aquarium, the music with dancing and the overall huge crowd with great vibe. There is a cafe with excellent fresh food, don't buy the sandwiches in the main square in the center, turn right and then right again for the amazing cafe. Deducting one star because there are SO many ad hoc places to buy wine, beer and drinks that I find myself overly tempted.... Driving? Pay the $10 to park under the museum rather than trying to find a spot in the neighborhood.
by Jasmine S. on Went to Atmosphere for the 1st time last nite (06/19/10). After hearing mixed reviews of the place, I decided to have a fun nite out with the girls. Got there before 11pm to get in free on the guestlist. The people at the door were friendly. The first room was a chill spot with a smaller bar. Free champagne and cupcakes! There were only 2 bartenders working at the time and it got a little bit of a wait. Disappointed that they were limited on what they had and couldn't make me a mojito. Boo! My sister's Tokyo Ice Tea tasted like sewer water! Im not exaggerating. The bar counters smelled like old wet rags. Finally they opened up the bigger dance room at around 12pm. It was a nice big area to dance and their dj booth and bar was beautiful! The music wasn't much to my liking at first, but then it picked up and they played more hip hop r&b mash ups. The crowd was decent. Seemed like its a spot for big groups to meet up and have a fun time. So if you're looking to have a fun event with 15+ of your best homies, this is a good spot for that. Crowd that nite was a mix of asians filipinos latins Overall, I probably wouldn't go to this club again. I had to drink more than I planned just to enjoy my time. I'm sure people have a great time at this place but it just wasn't to my liking. To each his own!
by Ceola Laychock on Wow... this little bar has been really transformed! It use to be called Little Pedro's and I went there a few times. Kinda shady looking before but now WOW.. It was so cool, red, dark , vampirish and sexy! Great place to have a drink before you go all out and hit the scene or just stay and get entertained. Staff seemed very friendly and crowd was so cool. We went on a friday because our friend Herick Hell D.J's every Friday at Bordello ~spinning indie, electro, 80's, trashy euro dance and mashups. On the night we went a band by the name of the "The BlackOuts" performed a live acoustic 80's & 90's alternative rock set before the d.j & burlesque dancers went on. The sound was great! The singers voice was so enchanting and it had everyone at the bar sining along to RadioHead, STP, Morrissey, Chilli Peppers and more. A very intimate private setting... heard they are playing again on the September 27th at Bordello! We are going! It's free before 10:30, parking available, smoking is out on front of the club. Great about this place is that you can dress up or just go chill... either way ur cool! I didn't give it the full 5 stars because it was a little warm , I don't really like to feel sweaty warm people brushing up against me.
