by Kristina A. on I like this lounge for its size, layout and crazy liquor selection. There's also a DJ, clean bathrooms and it's very BART/Muni accessible. It's a great happy hour spot with lots of seating and cool music, but it gets kinda douchy around 9pm which is always my signal to bail, so I can't vouch for it as a night time destination. Happy hour is from 5-7pm. Everything in the house is $2 off! So well drinks are $4 Most draft beers are $3 Bottled beers are $3 Bud/Bud light is $2 A Grey Goose martini at HH is $9
by Desmond Shake on After trudging over here from the 8th avenue station, I was wondering where in the hell was my friend bringing me. I know it's your birthday, but this better be good. And it was. We didn't have reservations, but the hostess was very gracious and allowed us to commandeer a bunch of tables so we'd have out own seating area. The beer and booze is cheap, the food simple and good and the ambiance perfect for an end of summer birthday get-together. I watched the sun set, petted the various dogs that were there with their owners and enjoyed the night view of the city. If you're not afraid of heights or rocking boats, I recommend going to the top deck - the panoramic view is awesome and it's kinda romantic. Hooray beer!
