Extraordinarily hip. To the point of making me unfomfortable. I hate the dark club-like atmosphere, but others dig it so whatever. The food is great. The first time I went, I had the grilled vegetable panini. It was delicious. The second time, I had the caprese panini. That was amaaaaaaazing. They serve it with a little plate of salt and pepper even though they have shakers. It also comes with a pesto/reduced balsamic sauce thing...wow. Fabulous. I wasn't even hungry, but it was so good! I'd eat it every day of my life if I weren't trying so hard to be vegan and I didn't live in Tucson. :P I wish they'd turn the lights on, though.

Definitely over-rated and over-priced! I guess we need to keep in mind that its Iron Chef owner is not the one preparing the meals for his customers.  Obviously, his fame helps in getting people from all over the country, including myself from California, to give it a try when I was in Philly. I ordered a chicken noodle soup that was supposed to be a "recommended" item.  It tasted like a very salty bowl of Swanson's chicken broth with a little bit of thin noodles in there.  It was a big disappointment since the soup costed $10 for such poor quality! Then I ordered sushi-a-la-carte, including uni (sea urchin) and nigiri sushi and rolls with various fish and shellfish.  They were not extraordinary and did not taste as fresh as what I could get at Sushi Bistro in San Francisco.  It was certainly fun to sit at the sushi bar to watch the chefs prepare our meal, so that was the only plus that I could give this restaurant. It is a beautiful restaurant, but service and food are just mediocre, especially for the price we have to pay.

The Supperclub obviously prides itself on its "naughty" rockstar image. Upon entering the dining room, the hostess tells you take off your shoes...and your clothes. The staff are all dolled up in their crackwhore-chic getups. There are handcuffs in the restrooms. So, what was up with the ultra-vanilla entertainment? I was expecting at the very LEAST some tame burlesque number. In order to up my review to 5 stars, the Supperclub needs to add some combination of the following elements to its entertainment schedule: hot chicks fucking unicorns, amputee and/or midget strippers, live squid sex show, polar bears. I'd also throw in another star if they dressed up some chimps in waiter outfits and had them bring out the food. Because that would be really cute.
