by Casey Danni on I paid my first "evening" visit to to Sugar Cafe on a recent Friday night. I had expected the place to have a coffee house sort of feel (as it does during the day), but I was pleasantly surprised by the bar/lounge ambiance that this place exudes at night. They really do transform the place into a swanky, cozy sort of night-time hangout. They've got cool lighting, lots of great seating options, video screens and great music, and a really commendable selection of tasty appetizers and cocktails. My expectations were greatly exceeded and I hope to come back here very soon.
by Sean P. on I loved the food!! I have been so disappointed in Mexican food since I moved here from San Diego a year ago...this hit the spot! It is the closest thing to what I consider "real" Mexican food and I grew up close to the border. Thank you Viva El Toro you will be seeing me again soon :) p.s. Try the pineapple infused tequila!! Yummy
by Delmer Ricaud on Yeah, sure it looks nice. However, nothing that spectacular to justify the prices. I went for the 12stepstorecovery movie party to support my friend Yenny Love. She wanted to thank me by buying me a drink and the bill came out to $43.20 (something like that, I couldnt see the change column too clear) for her drink and mine combined. Are they serious? You wont find me here unless I have to go support someone again.
