Fado is the perfect balance between casual, sporty, classy and ultra chic. This is the kind of place I would want to be seen in the greater Atlanta area. The patio is perfect for a lounge style atmosphere, that also provides full menu service. The authentic Irish food is memorable, and the service is outstanding. My husband and I were there on a very busy Saturday night, had to wait at the bar for a table because we wanted patio seating, and never felt ignored or crowded. One of my favorite parts of vacations to the south is eating and trying new things and Fado is someplace I will be sure to put on my list time and time again.

My friends and I went on the same night, but had very different experiences. All the bartenders were very nice to me, all, especially one woman with short hair, were VERY MEAN to my friends. They all gave me happy hour deals WAY past happy hour, but wouldn't give them to my friends even during happy hour. They complained about a line to the bathroom, I had to wait for one person once. So even one group of people there at the same time can have a very different experience. I can't remember what they had, but I was pleased with the beers on tap. Maybe Leffe? It was at least 4 months ago... Anyway, I'm really confused because I'm usually the one getting crappy service, but I certainly can't complain. There was lots of room to move around, they let my friend take over the place to fundraise for her film, there's shuffleboard (I didn't play but I'm intrigued), the patio is pretty rad...it is completely out of my way so I won't be heading there every week, but I will happily make the trek to meet a friend or if I have someone to keep me company on the bus.

They have 'beds'. Do you care? I kinda don't. The place is crawling with eye candy--people; lights; signs. That's kinda cool, I guess. As for the rateclub-specific party held there, that gets one star too. Very poorly planned with the timing of dinner and the other rateclub-ers showing up. Too crowded. Had it been my first rateclub party maybe I'd be impressed but I've witnessed rateclub parties so much more superior to this one e.g. California Academy of Art. I think I'd rather have stayed home and watched TV. Although TV couldn't compare with some of the killer cleavage at Supperclub.
