Oh my freakin' A this place was HOOOOOOOOOOT!  If it wasn't for the unbearable heat it would have been okay.  We got a table here on Halloween night where we were segregated from all other people, had our own place to dance and it was still ridiculous!  It was hot upstairs and downstairs so it really doesn't make a difference where you are - They Are BOTH HOT! To let you know... ************* LOCATION ************* The club is in the Tenderloin but is only one block in so it's not that bad.  Just go with other people and don't talk to strangers. DUH ************* VIP ************* The Area UPSTAIRS is neat with all lit up floors and two rooms playing hip hop and another with reggeaton.  The reggeaton room had all the AC but was small and too dark. I wouldn't suggest VIP in the Reggaeton room but think the lit up VIP in the middle of the upstairs would be nice.  Still keep in mind you will be tooooo hot to dance either way. The Area DOWNSTAIRS is the area with the VIP bed. We had the VIP bed that night which was roped off and sat next to one VIP table on the left and about 10 VIP tables on the right.  That night the music was the same type in both upstairs and downstairs. ************* THE OUTSIDE: OUT BACK ************* Bring a camera! The outside area looks like a prision yard, or basement from "Fight Club"!! It is super scary and wouldn't go cool off out back unless you are in a group of atleast 3 or 4 people!!  Straight SCARY is the best way to explain it ! ************* OVER ALL ************* I am a connoisseur of SF clubs and know what I am talking about... TOO HOT TO EVER GO BACK ! The place "looked" nice. The waitress were super attentive. The VIP is the only way to go. Something to be carefull of though is random non-VIP people trying to sit on your VIP area and drink your alcohol! The bouncers are good for about the first 30 minutes then get real lax and no longer care. The cost was fine - normall for SF. People at the club were fairly ghetto all crunk dancing, flinging themselves all over the place and bumping into others. Music sucked. I only recognized about 5 songs the whole night, and yes I am familiar with that type of music especially when it was supposed to be hosted by Wild 94.9. There were wall unit fans that didn't work at all.  I was sweating so bad and rarely got up once to dance. (It was that bad.)   If you were drunk you would've passed out! I felt horrible for the people in their huge costumes! My costume was skimpy and I was still crazy sweaty ! ALL IN ALL Okay place, I have been to better, and would never be back due to the innability to dance at the club. Why else do you go to a club?? HOPE THIS HELPS !    : )

Honestly, this isn't a review because I never actually went there. That's right! Myself and some girlfriends went to the top wearing our normal street clothes on a Saturday night at 9:00PM. We were greeted with very loud music, musty STANK and everyone dressed up in Tuxes. The place wasn't full and the hostess said, "that'll be $45 dollars." I was confused and afraid. I've been to much nicer places with better views of the city and was never asked to pay 15 dollars a person to get in. I'm never going back. It's not my scene but it's also stinky, upscale and too expensive.

Under all Amy standards this is a sexy bar! The white with the lights - sexy! But ..... sexy does not necessarily mean good .... drinks were really slow and not great .. although by recommendation from the vodka rep the vodka strawberry was killer ( that was until they ran out of strawberry ). So my top points of this rateclub event were :- 1 - seeing the beautalicious Jenny O , Peter M, David G, Stormi and Omid. 2- Seeing all you other sexy rateclubers ! 3- the lights the lights !!! 4- falling over and licking the floor in front of the sexy Jeremy S ( ooooooh the joy! ) 5 - seeing a TV's bottom 6- having a little boogy 7 - leaving I would probably go again if just for the lights ...... with the white ... on a normal it is funkalicious .. i think perhaps they were a little overwhelmed by the rateclubers passion for drinking !
