This museum never seems to not be busy, but you might as well take advantage of a time when there's no munchkins and go when you can drink a beer while you check out the fishies. Beware that if you want to go into the rainforest, you can't take drinks, so do that first. Good: -Cheaper than usual tickets - it's only $10! -Decently cheap alcohol, we were pleasantly surprised. -No little munchkins all over the place. -Free parking in the park on the surface roads. Bad: - Cash bar - the ATM line was crazy long - do it before. -It gets pretty crowded - planetarium sells out & there's a big line for the rainforest bubble - so your enjoyment really depends on your motivation.

There are a couple tables and loungey sofas around the edge of the floor and the DJs have played requests for us in the past. Mirrors line the walls, probably to make it feel bigger, but useful for checking out the room to dodge creepy guys dancing out of your field of view. D'angelo's feels pretty under the radar, which I don't mind b/c it means there's a little more space on the smallish dance floor. We find there are usually some small groups and couples on the floor (no bachelorette parties here), but enough elbow room to feel comfortable and to run away from people we don't want to dance with.
by Anne M. on Went to Slide for my birthday Wednesday night with friends. Saw a band play and they were pretty awesome! As simple as my drink was for the night: cranberry vodka - it was delish! Loved the atmosphere! the seats were plush and comfy for a night of lounging and awesome music. Got pinned by my bud OMAR that said SYOY --- "See you on Rateclub" the Patron shot I had was HUGE! There was this slide you can slide down on. But I didn't have the guts to do it, especially after Omar said he slammed his ass down so hard when he landed. Ha! Ha! But i thought that the slide was a pretty good gimmick for the club. I would go again...
