Never plan to have your party here. It will be a disaster. I had a joint birthday party here yesterday. We told them well in advance who was coming, and we dropped well over $1200 for bottle service -- and we definitely were willing to shell out much more than that. However, the night turned sour when we learned that people who had arrived by 10pm, were not let in until after 11pm (and thus had to pay a $20 cover). On top of that, people in the bottle service line had to wait outside for well over 30 minutes. It wasn't until I went outside and argued with the hostess/bouncers that they let my friends in. In the end, well over less than half the people that came made it inside. It would have been nice if they at least warned us of this ridiculous line they self-create to exude exclusivity. It was outrageous and honestly quite embarrassing for myself -- and ruined my night. I'm pretty much telling anyone who's throwing a party to avoid Roe. Try your luck at places like Slide, etc. They are much more respectful of their clients.

This place is O.K. I mean, it's true that there are waaay too many snobs that frequent there, but at least it's not filled w/ ghetto-ass mo-fos lookin for a fight. The bouncers are definitely assholes. DEFINITELY. A friend of DH had on a tee and was given some lame excuse about how after a certain time only collared shirts were allowed in. But it must've been GOD that walked in two minutes later with a $100 over-bedazzeled t-shirt, cause that S.O.B. let HIM in! Oh, the injustice!! The music, for the most part was cool. They mixed hip hop and trance, or dance or whatever the F*ck that shite is. But I got a good dance outta there. And me do likes to dance! All in all, $20 to dance in a fancy basement with good music is a bit steep. I prefer Zee Bar.
