This place is solid, it's a lounge AND a karaoke spot! I had the opportunity to spend the evening in the Henessey room which was the biggest karaoke room there, 3 flatscreens and a touch screen interface on the side and it's own air conditioning unit, like whoa! Heck, they even have a Hello Kitty themed room! I'd definitely go here many more times.

Club review only: Coming from LA I'd have to say this was a strange, strange place. $10 cover?! Strange DJ who played literally all kinds of music. Which is good but he just didn't flow very well. Top 40 to belly dancing music to hood rap to 80s mashup. It was also extremely loud on the first floor. As in my eardrums were hurting. I know I'm old but I asked everyone around me and they screamed back that, "Yes. It is really loud down here." There are lots of guys. There are also lots of security guards. The noise was a little bit better upstairs. I liked how you can just plop down on the sofa in front of that bar, but people kept stepping on me. My feet were tucked in too! There is a water cooler on the side of that upstairs bar. All drinks come in this dinky plastic punch cup. To get to the roof you could wait forever for the elevator or walk up the stairs which also had unlocked doors leading to the attached hostel. Very strange and unsafe for both parties I suppose. The roof is a roof. I finally understood why this is such a big deal to SF when it explained by a native. To me a roof is a roof. There were only two working heat lamps. Don't check your coat in at the door. Bring it to the roof. The bar was also roped off. I wasn't allowed to approach the bartender. It was very strange. I was told an extra dirty martini made with Belvedere instead of Absolut would be $2 extra. Never has this happened in LA. My martini was disgusting. It also came in that dinky plastic punch cup. You can't hear music on the roof. There is like one speaker in the corner farthest away from the heat lamps. People here are strange. People in SF are strange. The one star is for the venue. Only coming with my friends bumped it up.

If The Endup would have had a working heating system the day we went, I would have rounded them up to 4. But since most of us were freezing our arses off for most of the night, 3 is pretty generous. We enjoyed Endup for the Kitsch factor: the waterfalls on the outdoor patio, the gas fireplace in the corner. Drinks are reasonable. The bartender was friendly. And the crowd is pretty easy-going. But having to dance with your gloves and ski hat still on is never cool... no matter how you slice it. A group of 15 of us strangers all huddled around the gas fireplace for over a good hour or more as we waited for the music to get better. So the club "brought us together", but probably not in the way they intended! They get a full star for being brave enough to be open on Christmas Day!!
