by Lauren B. on Finally got to sample the tacos at Nick's. They're pretty good. Ordered two big ass carne asada tacos and one pescado taco. Their pescado taco beats any other fish taco in the city? One taco was enough to fill me up and the hubs ate the rest. Oh and i couldnt stop laughing when the dude that took my order kept calling me "homegirl".
by Rashad Carruthers on The space is clean and convenient, and the service was hassle-free, but man, it's expensive! 3 games for 2 people came to $82 including shoe rental. The experience was fun and seamless, but coupled with the high cost, the overall feeling is kinda "meh."
by Andrea Knott on Its hip like midcity cafe, but a little more local neighborhood crowd. From the kitchen, I've never met anyone that hasn't liked the food there. I rank their ginger crusted tofu as the best vegetarian eats in Midtown. Friend had the pork tenderloin, and said is was superb. Service was a little slow, but friendly and I'm in no hurry. As a hip little bar, drinks are a little pricey, but heck, its two blocks away and always filled with interesting characters. Seriously, always. Bartenders have a bit of a NYC attitude, which once you accept, makes for an interesting evening. I had some really bad potato vodka there once (it was an experiment), but some great wine.
