by Sandrine T. on Went here on a Tuesday night. It was a nut fest. I swear there were only 5 girls in there. Not much diversity being everyone was Asian. Don't get me wrong.. Yes I'm asian but i prefer a more diverse crowd. I came from The Ambassador Lounge Cause they were having $2 Tuesdays. mannn that place was HELLLA popping compared to Sloane. However, I LOVED the decor at Sloane. Hmmm. Thats about it. The door is nice.
by Felicitas Correira on The food is decent--nothing amazing, but it's certainly not bad. Unless you have high standards, you won't be disappointed. Drinks are considerably more expensive than they're worth. Service ranges from horrendous to decent, depending on who's working that night and how many customers there are. If it's moderately busy and you've got a lousy server, you might not get service in under 45 minutes. Don't play Quizo here. The Quizo guy isn't bad, although there's often at least one factually incorrect "answer" per 30-question game, but, should you win, you'll find yourself with a handwritten 'coupon' for $15 off your bill. Unfortunately, your use this coupon is limited to when and how the owner feels like letting you use it. At very least, be aware that you cannot use it during or after playing Quizo or on the weekend.
by Kristeen Romanchuk on I love this place! I went on a Sunday night and it was great! The DJ was wonderful and I heard the food is also really good. The drinks were also free for the ladies and the bartender was great! I highly recommend Taboo 2 to anyone who is looking for great drinks, music and food. Oh yeah, on Sunday night the DJ plays more hip hop music and mixes in a little raggae. If you love to dance this is where you need to be, everyone dances and has a fantastic time!
