by Tracy Y. on Came here with a few friends and my immediate impression was: "omg, they are going to be playing house and techno all night?!" Looked around at the crowd and I instantly felt about 4-5 years too young for this place. Definitely an older crowd than I'm used to. Although our drinks were delicious, we couldn't drink fast enough to endure the music any longer. I'm not a fan of house or techno music so no matter how good my drinks were I just had to bounce. Went over to my friend's lounge on Broadway instead and spent of the rest of the night there. Maybe I'll come back in a few years so I can fit in with the crowd better.
by Isidra Lemar on Came here on a Saturday night. Rather full, $10 cover, lots of people preening. Cocktails were expensive and poorly made (a 'manhattan in a rocks glass' means you don't make it in a cocktail shaker). Music was ok but kind of loud considering the fact it was a lounge where you couldn't really dance (dance section had similarly loud music, but that is understandable). Decor was kind of cool. Biggest problem with this place are the pushy patrons. Dear lord people, is it impossible to pass by other people without slamming into them? Everyone in my group felt like we were in a mosh-pit competing for space. And no one ever said excuse me. If the barkeep knew how to make a proper cocktail, the music wasn't so loud, and the people weren't such dimensionallychallenged jerk-offs, the experience may have been more pleasurable. Of course, they were charging $10 a head and the place was full, so I guess a lot of people enjoy all of that.
by Meda Gishal on This place is pretty cool. The food is good & so are the prices. I've been a few times. The first time I went I had a great, down to earth server. However, the second time I went, the server was horrible. She got upset because my mom and I wanted to order appetizers. She told us we had to go upstairs if we wanted appetizers. However, the upstairs area is more of a singles, mix & mingle area, but we weren't there for that. We didn't care what she said so we still sat there. I would not recommend this place if you're trying to go to dance and have fun. They have an upstairs area with a dance floor and music playing, however it isn't live, AT ALL! I heard it was but it wasn't the times I went. I only recommend Strip it if you're going out to eat for lunch or dinner.
