For someone not very into nightclubs, I actually had a very good time here. We got on the guest list before 11:30 so we bypassed the line and walked right in (for free) and also got a free bottle of champagne - very cool. The drinks aren't cheap, but they're made well, which I appreciate. The rap room is way too ghetto for me, but the main room was fun - the DJ played some good mash-ups. Our main complaint was that we didn't enjoy the more unknown songs he played. I was there with 6 girls and we danced alone, no horrible guys trying to dance with us. The lights and air affects create a pretty good atmosphere....we'll probably go back.

We popped into Slice for a few beers and a place to get warm -- at first glance, it was clean, open, and friendly. The staff was attentive. But here comes the bad news. I am not sure if this is a typical problem for them as many other reviewers haven't mentioned it, but holy smokes it smelled horrid in there. Like they had a huge issue with their sewage plumbing or something, I'm not kidding. It was enough for us to down our beers and move on. Had the smell not been so repelling, I would have given three stars.

ummm....i don't normally go to clubs. but i had a friend in town who wanted to go dancing and a friend of hers who was friends w/ the DJ. I personally feel like all these clubs are the same. But, highlights of Retox were the DJ who loved to hear himself talk. He talked over about every song he played. "Yeah...Uh huh...come on ya'll....yeah.....We're here to partay....yeah..." and on. It was impossible to get into a song. I was severely under dressed for this club because I had not planned to go here, but it turned out to be fine and I was actually glad I was dressed differently than everyone else there who all looked the same. So...yeah I'm not going to waste anymore time on this one...I don't recommend.
