by Kristen E. on Place was fun. This was my second time being there. First time I attended, was years ago although it didn't seem to change much. The $20 cover wasn't as much fun, especially since we got there after midnight. Drinks are strong and reasonable. I kind of thought the crowd was a little on the ghetto side which is a shame but other than that, It's nice and spaceous--one thing I always look for in a club! So if you don't mind the cover, or the people in attendance, then go right ahead!

I won't be back anytime soon, if ever...I got charged a $3 cover while other friends who arrived before me either didn't get charged, got charged $1 or $1.50. When I confronted the door guys, they said it wasn't preferential treatment but less per person in a group. I told them it wasn't fair that I had to arrive alone. Note that the place was dead at the time. Yeah, it's only $3, but this isn't NYC or LA where there's exclusivity. I didn't know I had to look like a Diva to get into this dive. Lame!
by Alisa Mailander on Went to Halo, was one of 5 people there on a Thursday. Bartender was nice guy and made incredible drinks, when we let him choose the drinks. Would definitely go back.
