Here's why: Good space; holds the right amount of people Great location - on a corner off of 2nd street Parking lots are nearby Steff's bar, Zebulon, Jon Colin, Harlot, and Temple are relatively close by Osha Thai is right across if you're looking to have dinner beforehand I consider 11 Minna a landmark for San Francisco! It's been here way too long, holding down so many noteworthy parties! 111 Minna continues to create memories....

My friends and I went on a Friday night, right before midnight and it wasn't very hard to get in- probably because it was freezing out and the place was pretty much empty when we got there. Within half an hour though, it was packed to the point where it was uncomfortable. And if you don't plan on getting bottle service, don't expect to sit down the whole night. This place is TINY for someplace that advertises itself as a "dance club." Seriously, where are you supposed to dance? And even if there was room, the music was incredibly awful! It wasn't even top 40s... it was the most random mix of nonsense. But the thing that earned its one-star rating is the sorry atmosphere- the place was full of girls dressed in skimpy dresses just dying for attention from rich 50-something year old men. We saw two pretty attractive young girls hanging off the shoulders of a 50-year old creepster who obviously was dropping mad money for their company. I'm gonna take my cue from Seth and Amy here and say: Really.....really?? If you're willing to shell out a few hundred dollars for bottle service in order to make yourself feel better about yourself, then by all means... GO. You'll probably have a good time by the time you're drunk enough. But If you're a decent person looking for a good time (while sitting or dancing) with your friends without the hassle of bouncers, $14 drinks, and sleazy atmosphere, stay far, far away.
by Maryetta Liff on best club I've been to in the US. Went there during WMC. The music was great. Danced until 6Am. That was a hell of a time I had at club space.
