by Toya C. on The perfect place to take friends from out of town. Nothing on the menu is too exotic, decor is nice, and very trendy nyc. But if you're not into sitting next to rich gossip girlesque 17 year olds with daddy's credit card, or random out of touch celebrities....go to Buddakan instead. The food, crowd and ambiance are much better.
by Jerlene Henaire on What I liked about Vertigo is that it's super divey in the front, but then it's a club in the back. So kinda the best of both worlds. There's no line, they actually serve jello shots (helllooo spring break!) and you don't have to get dressed up. The music is very top 40 - Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, and old school hip hop hits from the 90's. A little difficult to listen to when you're sober but when you're wasted it's the best thing ever.
by Miss B. on Drinks were average... nothing to really rave about. Employees werea little ... not rude, but... well, anyhow. The music, for a piano bar, not horrible... The friend of the gal behind the piano playing... Now she was a real Beee-otch. I do not know who she is, and I really don't care... She strait BULLIED my two guy friends that were with me in to tipping the piano player! I wasn't so nice, so she called me some names. Now an experience like that could really color someone's view of a joint, don't you think? So, maybe it wasnt so much that the place wasn't stellar... But the "friends" behavior... Much less than stellar.
