Seriously, save your money and stay home if this is your only option for a night out. My two girlfriends and I came here last Sat because we have heard some great things. Should of rateclubsed this piece of crap place first. Got there arnd 11:45ish, $20 cover, bouncer (or promoter) while cute, but a total douche to the guys waiting on line. We get inside, only techno music is playing and the bottom floor was closed for a private party. The tables were empty so we took a seat, until someone came to say that they had reserved their table. Cool, no problem, we got up. Before sitting somewhere else, I asked one of the guards if they were gonna play anything other than techno, he said that the first floor was usually just techno, but that since there was a private party in the lower lever, the dj might mix things up. We waited a few more minutes to see if the music would change. We found a place to sit among a few other groups of girls. After about 5-10mins, a stupid promoter comes up to all of us (about 12 girls on a large circular couch) and motions us to get up in the most rude manner possible. He could have used his words and asked nicely, but manners are too much for him. As I got up, his impatient ass walks my way to rearrange the table and steps on my toes!! I pushed him right off and did his stupid face even apologize? No, of course not. My toe still hurt three days later. After being there for half an hour, paying $20 to get in, and listening to music we don't even like, we left to find a different place. Ohh and to open a tab, the minium is $50...fk outta here! Greenhouse has a moderate dress code because I saw some guys wearing jeans and sneakers but nice collar shirts and sweaters. Everyone was standing around talking over the loud music, no dancing going on except for... Highlight: random girl dancing by herself, staring herself intently in the glass divider, whipping her hair round and round. Too funny.

It's the closest bar to my house. They have not one, but TWO pool tables. They have darts. They serve food. They have pacman. They have FREE popcorn! I love this place. It's also CRAZY packed on saturday afternoons when UT is playing.

I may have been here on an off night, because the music was just alright, but not the funnest club experience I've ever had. The night was definitely salvaged by witnessing a pretty ridiculous sloppy drunk PDA scene in the middle of the place, it garnered a bunch of weird looks and some light hearted laughs. I would definitely go back for a show or a different DJ, as the sound system looks like it could cause serious inner ear damage, and I'm down with that.

I certainly enjoyed eating with my fingers and the food was about as good as any Ethiopian I've had in DC. There's a bar-like atmosphere downstairs and an open pool table room out back, which makes for a pretty casual atmosphere. I hear they've got decent bands every so often as well. Overall, I'd recommend it for an easy dinner out.
