a nice space. but smaller than it appears on the outside. navagating a little bit confusing. the bathrooms are in some weird long hallway. but it is different than most club spaces in nyc had a little bit of trouble at the door, but that was smoothed over by a friend. lots of europeans. they let us dance on the tables and such, since our friend had a table. That night was a little fuzzy. but people there seemed to like to party. and were classy. but I could see how people could see this place as snobby and over rated. I had fun because I was pretty drunk already. so I didn't care what people thought about my antics. I say, come drunk, bring girls, and be prepared for a small dance floor unless youre willing to pay for a table.

Repo has been around for years and you can understand why.  They always do a great job of keeping their ear to the ground with their listening selection.  Most of our vinyl collection comes from Repo all the way back to my first Cramps, Sex Pistols, Ramones or whatever albums and/or CD's.  If you love music then you can't miss this shop because it will give you ear-gasm!

Music was simply amazing. I saw the Lloyd Gregory band as well, and it gave me CHILLS. Each member of the band sings (yes, even the drummer!) But about the venue... I walked in expecting to pay $10 since that's what the website said, but the cashier said there must've been some confusion because it was $12.50 a ticket. Since I was with my dad after dinner, I knew I wasn't gonna get sloshed at the bar, so I asked for water and she told me there's a two drink minimum per person, and I would have to get bottled. Hmm, whatever happened to just enjoying music with some free water for my parched throat? The ambiance was nice, definitely date-ish with booths and mirrors and candlelight...and I had a great time because of Janice, the keyboardist that sang like no one I've heard before. I like their motto "Hot Biscuits and Cool Blues", and I'll come back to try the southern cookin. **Edit 7/30/07-crab cakes are the BEST. Sweet potato fries, yes Yes YES!
