Jen H... I think I know why it wasn't that busy the night you went.  They messed up at the door. This place is too selective for its own good.  I hope this place doesn't succeed because they have treated me and my party horribly. I understand a club needs to create an image.  I get that.  Hold up the line to make it look like its poppin',  no sausage fest,  only let in good lookin' and well dressed people, etc..  To be expected so we came prepared. However,  I've been trying to setup a bday celeb at this place for a whole month.  I hit up their website because I wanted to setup bottle service and there isn't even a clickable link for that.  Crap website.  I go with using the contact us link and get Arash... who I sent a couple emails and he didn't respond.  Then he finally does after two weeks and supplies his contact number and when I call he says they've been sold out for a while and then says there is a table available but for $3000... $3000???? WTF?  How can that be?  I'm sure that's just a tactic to make it sound exclusive because who the F will pay that?  I ask him if I can at least setup a glist and he tells me to email another address which I email several times and get no response. Since this place sounded so "HOT" we wanted to try our luck anyway and just show up at the place REAL early expecting to be held up in the line and were down to pay to get in.  Our group rolls up and immediately tells everyone that its a glist only party.  I see others standing there having the same issue.  This is contradictory to what Arash told me because I specifically asked if there is a special even that night and he said no.  After chatting with a bouncer for 30 minutes he finally agrees to try and work something out if our guy-girl ratio is good.  We had 8 more chicks than guys right there and a pretty diverse group as well and so he goes to the doorman and comes back and says "sorry man... guest list only".  WTF? Fine.  You don't want us to drop any cash in your place its all good. What I don't get is my guy friends that arrived late when we decided to hit up another place got in just fine.  A couple girl friends did the same.  They told me too it wasn't that crowded inside at 1130 and the line wasn't too bad.  Sounds like they messed up and didn't let enough people in. Sorry guys.  You guys really screwed up because there were 35 of us that you didn't get to profit off of.  We sure dropped a lot of $$$ at a neighboring club that were happy to serve us well with great bottle service and courtesy.  They even comp'd us a bottle for my fiance's bday. This is probably an unfair review since I didn't get to even check it out inside myself but then again they treated me and my party unfairly so I'd say we're even.  Never will spend my money at a place like that.  Manor West don't kid yourself.  This ain't Vegas...

Buddha Bar is definitely a trendy NY hot spot and perfect for meat packing district. I thought the atmosphere was nice, and somewhat loungy. They had delicious, unique cocktails. The calamari was good. Our table had a really great time, a girl friend of mine had gotten the prawn, another got sushi and a couple of them got the sea bass, and we also got 2 dessert to split for the table. Let's just say, we finished everything without feeling like we were completely full, it was just right before having a night out on the town.

Had a dinner here with friends on Saturday night and was very pleased.  Didn't have to wait much for our table (Props to our waiter Edwin) and the staff made for great eye candy!  The meal was a bit on the expensive (if your in the meat packing, expect to spend some cash) side but well worth it. Will def be coming back.
